Front of House Server (Part Time)
Start date: November, 2026
Schedule: Part-time; weekend availability required
Location: Salisbury Mills, NY
Compensation: $15 - $17 per hour + tips, depending on experience
Set on 11 acres in the Hudson Valley, Cornwall Social includes a café, greenhouse, market, walking trails, educational programming, and two event spaces currently under construction. We believe that food, farming, nature, and shared experiences can bring people together, and we're creating opportunities for our community to do just that.
Role
Opening in Fall 2026, Cornwall Social is hiring part-time Front of House Servers to help deliver a warm, polished, and welcoming guest experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, moves confidently during busy service, communicates clearly with guests and teammates, and takes pride in making every visit feel thoughtful and well cared for.
Job Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
- Take orders accurately, answer menu questions, and make thoughtful recommendations
- Enter orders and process payments using Toast POS
- Run food and beverages, clear tables, reset service areas, and support smooth guest flow
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the café, market, and guest-facing spaces
- Assist with opening, closing, side work, and daily service preparation
- Support barista, counter, retail, and event service needs as directed
- Communicate guest feedback, service issues, and supply needs to leadership
- Work closely with kitchen and café teammates to keep service running smoothly
- Help create a positive, respectful, and hospitable team culture
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of server, café, restaurant, or hospitality service experience (with references).
- Is comfortable engaging with guests in a warm, professional, and natural way
- Has strong communication skills and can stay calm and focused during busy service
- Is reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and willing to jump in wherever needed
- Understands great hospitality and takes pride in creating a thoughtful guest experience
- Has barista, café, retail, or counter service experience; event service experience is a plus
- Experience with Toast POS preferred
- Part-time position. Weekend availability required.

Line Cook (Full Time)
Start date: November
Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday (40hrs)
Location: Salisbury Mills, NY
Compensation: $19 - $21 hr

Role
Opening in Summer 2026, We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. We’re a local restaurant focused on thoughtful food, seasonal ingredients, and a warm, welcoming guest experience. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to Cornwall Social standards
- Set up and maintain a clean, organized station
- Assist with daily prep, service, breakdown and cleaning
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work closely with the chef, kitchen team & farm team
- Assist farm team with harvesting and vegetable production
- Help maintain consistency, quality, and efficiency
Qualifications
Previous kitchen or line cook experience essential
Desire to learn more about farming and growing food
Strong attention to detail
Ability to stay calm and focused during busy service
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Willingness to learn and take direction
Weekend availability is a must
Punctuality, flexibility, and great time management skills.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Dishwasher / Prep Cook (Full Time)

Role
Opening in Summer 2026, we are looking for a dependable Dishwasher / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is an important part of keeping the kitchen running smoothly, cleanly, and efficiently during prep and service. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, organized, and willing to jump in wherever needed. Previous kitchen experience is helpful, but we’re also open to training the right person with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Keep dish area clean, organized, and running efficiently
- Assist with basic food prep, including chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients
- Help with receiving, stocking, and rotating product
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen and storage areas
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Support cooks and kitchen staff during prep, service, and breakdown
Qualifications
Reliable, punctual, and ready to work
Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Able to stand for long periods
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Positive attitude and team-player mindset
Willingness to learn and take direction
Weekend availability is essential
